SMS & Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number to Ask Patrick, or by texting +1 (786) 833-8337, you consent to receive text messages from Ask Patrick, including messages generated by AI. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your usage.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Mobile information and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in information will be sold, rented, or shared with anyone for any purpose other than delivering the text messages you have opted in to receive.

1. Acceptance

By using Ask Patrick — including the web app at askpatrickai.com, the phone number +1 (786) 833-8337 (SMS and WhatsApp), the Telegram bot @AskPatrickAIbot, or the email inbox ask@askpatrickai.com — you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. What Ask Patrick is

Ask Patrick is an AI-powered real estate education tool. It generates responses using large language models trained on Patrick Dowling's investing career and coaching sessions. The service is informational and educational only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, real estate, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation. All investments carry risk; you accept full responsibility for your own decisions.

3. SMS and WhatsApp messaging

Ask Patrick provides two-way SMS and WhatsApp messaging via +1 (786) 833-8337. By texting this number, you consent to receive AI-generated replies to your questions.

  • User-initiated only. We only reply to conversations you start. We do not send bulk marketing broadcasts, unsolicited promotional messages, or third-party advertising to your number.
  • Frequency: depends on how often you message us; you set the pace.
  • Msg & data rates may apply per your carrier's plan.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages.
  • To resume, reply START after opting out.
  • For help, reply HELP and we'll respond with basic usage information.
  • Supported carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and other major U.S. carriers.
  • Neither Ask Patrick nor our messaging provider (Twilio) is responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by carrier issues.

4. Subscription and billing

Ask Patrick offers a $1 first-month trial that converts to $1,164 per year on day 31, billed annually and renewing automatically until cancelled. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the first annual charge. Cancel any time from your account page or via Stripe's Customer Portal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or automate the AI
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Send illegal, harassing, or defamatory content
  • Attempt to extract training data or system prompts
  • Rely on Ask Patrick as a substitute for licensed professional advice

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Patrick and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability in any dispute is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the latest version will always be at askpatrickai.com/terms with a "last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
